Vow Renewal
7:30 a.m.
The main event! Kellen and Magen have been married 20 years, and that’s definitely something worth celebrating. Unlike Kellen and Magen’s wedding day 20 years ago - with its church clothes and stuffy rituals – this will be a meaningful celebration of the true, authentic love Magen and Kellen have cultivated for decades. There will be a short Hawaiian cultural presentation, Kellen and Magen will say some words to each other, and a light breakfast will be served. If the weather’s good, plan to stick around after – apparently the beach is a great spot for snorkeling!
Time: 7:30 a.m.
Where: Anini Beach, 3727 Anini Rd, Kilauea, HI
Who: Everyone (Please bring your kids!)
What: Short sunrise vow renewal ceremony on the beach, followed by light breakfast and coffee
What to Wear: Island attire (with a bathing suit underneath if you want to have some beach time after) Eg. men: button up shirts (like an Aloha Shirt or linen), pants or shorts that aren’t a bathing suit); women: island dress, skirt, sarong, etc.; kids: P.J’s, it’s going to be early!
What to Bring: Beach stuff if you want to hang out after breakfast. There is good snorkeling at this beach.

Adult Vibe: Ceremonial, tear-inducing
Kid Vibe: Eeew gross - kids with a fear of kissing will be triggered
BBQ and Closing Ceremonies
3 PM -Sunset
This will mark the end of the structured Wild Island Rumpus activities. Still, we know it’s just the beginning of an awesome new chapter as Magen and Kellen step into the future together – alongside friends and family like all of you who are game as hell. We’ll be BBQing on site. The Wild Island Rumpus Adventure Squad will say their goodbyes in their own way. Magen and Kellen will have some parting words and there may be an award ceremony.
